Celeste Stevens
An overview
Celeste Stevens is a Brent born lady who currently works at Reading Football Club as Head of Safeguarding and Academy Player Welfare.
A role she has held for a number of years and which is understandably demanding on a day to day basis. Prior to that she has held several roles welfare, including in Oxfordshire and specifically Slough Borough Council.

In her spare time, Celeste is a DBS verifier of Black Girls Do Run charity. a not for profit organisation that encourages women of colour to meet support and address health benefits. Black Girls Do Run UK (BGDRUK) is an England Athletics affiliated London based running club/family founded by Tasha Thompson in 2019.
On board came four friends who also run, completing the team and making it the fantastic five.
Celeste’s involvement came from initially signing up for couch to 5k in 2011 and has been enthusiastically running ever since 2011. Her first race was a Race for Life 5km event in 2013 and she has since ran many races of varying distances up to half marathon.
