Lorna Falconer
An overview
Lorna grew up in Brent, Willesden, and in the backdrop of Willesden Library.
Lorna however had the intention of taking the sports game by storm and branching out.
After attending Primary School and Secondary schools in the area, Lorna ventured out into a number of roles that interested her, most notably in the travel and hospitality setting, before settling into football administration.

The Travel and Hospitality’s loss was sports gain, as he she held positions at Tottenham Hotspur, The EFL (English Football League), Premier League and then rising to the Head of Football Operations at the ever inspiring and aspirational Brentford Football Club.
Lorna has been an advocate for the Jason Roberts Foundations and its different initiatives, including career events to charity matches.
A notable back story to Lorna is a letter from Alan Sugar once contributed to her hiring for her first job in football. Lorna typed a ‘very long and very passionate’ letter about football and sent it to the owner of her father’s favourite club. “I just put on the envelope ‘Alan Sugar, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Tottenham, London’ and I hoped it would get there”.
The Spurs HR department invited Lorna for an interview, and she began to work part-time on match-days. She never met the Chairman at this stage, so he never got the chance to tell Lorna ‘You’re Hired’. But when she was offered a full-time job in the commercial department they met in circumstances which, all these years on, reflect well on both of them.
